Make Your Summer Historic!

Huronia Historical Parks operates two of Ontario’s premier historic attractions, Sainte-Marie among the Hurons in Midland, and Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishene.  We offer tremendous opportunities to enhance inter-personal and communication skills. Positions available include:

  • Historical Interpreters (French Speaking an asset)
  • Maintenance
  • Receptionist/Switchboard (bilingual)
  • Admissions (bilingual)

Volunteer Opportunities

Each year people enjoy volunteer experiences at our historic sites.  Many of these volunteer opportunities are offered to the public by our partners and ourselves during the months of June, July and August.  Our site partners and program contract sections include the following groups:

  • The Friends of Sainte-Marie for volunteer opportunities in special events
  • Drayton Festival Theatre for volunteer opportunities at the King's Wharf Theatre.
